Nipple stimulation & clitoral orgasms can also do this... (orgasms can trigger strong contractions hehehe). Try walking. A lot. Walk as much as possible. I have heard doctors are leary about inducing VBACS but I don't know why. The membrane sweep put me into labor... although the labor lasted three days before I started dilating past 3 cm. I went to the hospital & was induced because of preeclampsia. I was pretty mad because my midwife kept sending me home saying I was not in labor--and has told me for one month that I don't have preeclampsia (long story). I finally went to the hospital dying from pain with 170/110 BP. The labor only took a couple of 2 hours once they induced me. I am so glad that I am no longer pregnant.
